Please take care with plants and flowers
The vast majority of plants and flowers that I use are entirely harmless. However, some have thorns, so please take care when handling, and some may have sap, pollen or seeds which are toxic if digested or can irritate skin.
Do not eat anything you buy from me – nothing that I sell is designed for human or animal consumption.
Always take care when handling flowers and plants and wash your hands thoroughly afterwards. Always keep flowers and plants out of the reach of pets and small children.
All plants listed are safe to purchase and display as long as precautions are taken. If you are particularly sensitive you may wish to wear gloves when handling materials.
If irritation occurs through:
- Digestion: drink plenty of water and seek medical advice immediately should you feel unwell.
- Skin contact: wash area immediately with soap and warm water. If irritation persists seek medical advice immediately.
- Contact with eyes: rinse thoroughly with cold clean water. If irritation persists seek medical advice immediately.
Please take care with candles
Where arrangements such as table centrepieces include candles, these are for decorative purposes only and should not be lit. Plant and flower material is flammable so please take precautions to avoid risk of fire.
Please take care with water and sharp points
Many of my products are supplied with water or the materials used have recently been in water and may remain wet. Some products also include sharp points such as wire or thorns. Water and sharp points can damage furniture and mark soft furnishings.
I do take every possible precaution to avoid leaks or scratches but customers should also take steps to mitigate risk of damage to property, for example floral arrangements should not be placed in contact with delicate or valuable furniture or clothing.
